This product is designed to measure electrode force with an accuracy of +/- 3 percent. It weighs 3 pounds and is powered by six standard AA batteries. The unit reads in either pounds or kilogram (factory preset, specify when ordering).

Although the unit is designed to be used with the welder in the “no weld” mode, accidentally passing current through the sensing head will cause no damage.

A swivel and rotating head for ease of positioning, analog output jack, and measurement of 0-3000 pounds force are standard. In addition, the unit will also withstand overloads of up to 4500 pounds without damage. Other configurations are available, see below.

The HDI model is provided with probe on a 5-foot extension for ease of use in tight spaces. Cost effective and convenient.
